I'm thinking about buying an extra barrel set for a Repro. Does anyone know if they generally require fitting, or if they just go right on?
TIA! Joe Bernfeld

My experience is the same as Bill implies. Some fit right on like they were made to the gun while others do not.

As an example, I have some had 20 gauge barrels that were interchangeable and one that was not interchangeable with the others.

I used to have two 12 ga reproductions that were both two-barrels sets and all barrels were completely interchangeable. The 16 ga after-market barrels I bought for my 20 ga repro did not fit so well unfortunately.

If you try for the instant fit and don't get it, the barrels will not be hard to sell if they are 28".
