Mine is #41,238.  It is a #1 frame 28" lightweight with .015 choke in both barrels.  A real bird gun.  D1 top action guns are fairly scarce, but I did almost buy one on one of the gun sites.  It had a few issues but was probably a solid gun.

Bill, this one is not a lightweight.  It has 30" barrels on a 2 frame weighing in at 9lb-2oz.  I think I remember it measuring improved modified and light full.  I got this one on Gunbroker a couple years ago.  It could be the one you were looking at.  I agree, you don't see them very often.
