Does anyone know where I can get a left side hammer for my Parker "T" grade hammer sxs shotgun? I have a PARKER made in 1883 Model"T", serial number #29XXX. 10 gage 32in barrels on a #4 frame. The right hammer seems to be correct but the left is just too long and doesn't strike the firing pin. I would imagine that Parker only made very few changes in it's hammer design and one would find the same hammer designs on many guns with the only difference being the engraving.
I have called a dozen companies in trying to find a spare but have been unsuccessful. I have contacted the linked sites on this site as well as all of the ones on the LC Smith site.
Should I try somewhere else? Does anyone have a parts gun with a left side hammer available?Attached Image (viewed 149 times):

Nice looking hammer, but the wrong radius from lock to firing pin.
The profile of the Parker Hammer changed at about the time your gun was made; between s/n 29000 and s/n31000. Lifters and top lever hammers were both changed at the time. We are featuring an article on Parker hammers in the next issue of Parker Pages which is closing today.
It is very difficult to find replacement hammers. The only source of supply is another gun of the same grade and era.

The hammer on the left is for low grade guns above somewhere around 30000; the hammer profile on the right is for all grades less than that serial. Frame 1,2,3 hammers are same size.

A big THANK"S goes to everyone who is willing to help me with this issue. At least I can have classic double trained gunsmith shorten and realign the one that I do have to get me by until I find a exact replacement somewhere.
