Went to an auction last week- there were three Parkers for sale. The GH two barrel gun was going to go for $1100. I just knew I would be sorry latter if I let it go for that. So now I own another Parker [ after a little bit more bidding]. Both barrels are Damascus - 30" full and full and 26" cyl and cyl. The butt stock had been replaced sometime- nice job but it has a Trojan butt plate. It also has the "fish tail" top lever. I just ordered a two barrel hard case and trade label from Tony and now today I see he has the correct butt plate. Have to order one of them. I see it's not in the serialization book, but I can order the paper work for it. My wife shot it at skeet the other day and says it fits her just fine. If I ever get her second set of barrels back for Dale she will then have a two barrel set also and I'll get my new gun back. Paul

George, it ended up being a bit more- like 800, but I still felt good about it. It was my first Parker hammerless. Now if I can just get the Damascus pattern to look good without paying someone else I'll be real happy. Paul

Yes, both barrels number to the reciever. Kurt, I had forgotten about the Freeland shoot. At this time I'm going. Maybe take some fliers along for our upcoming SxS shoot on July 18th. Are you going?

In the Northwest you'd be more likely to see a live Unicorn at an auction than a Parker Gun, let alone a two barrel set. Sounds like a nice find, how about a picture or two?

My som is coming over tonight - maybe he'll show me how to post pictures. Kurt, I'm going up north to my cabin, but may come back on Saturday. If so we'll stop in to the shoot. Paul

I see that it has a two piece hinge pin. Must have been right at the transition to be fitted with a fishtail.

Per the book was it built in 1891 ?? Every fishtail top lever hammerless gun I have seen was mfg in 1891 and has the two piece hinge pin... Nice find. Those bent top levers sure look sweeet...

The latest one piece hinge pin I have seen was mfg 1890. So, there may be some guns with both features.

Kurt
