I suspect Galazan(Connecticut shotgun manufacturing co.) has them.

I have asked the same Question before and never gotten an answer.  Unless it is a new item Connecticut shot gun does not have them for sale.  I know they are on the $49,000 Parker they make.

The Lyman Gun Sight Company is listed on many PGCA research letters as Parkers supplier of ivory beads. The link below is to their web site but the sight described for a double barelled shotgun is "ivory-like" whatever that means.:(

Galazan sells a number of different sights, including ivory.

I had one of their ivory beads put on a trojan last year. It looks good. I think by the time you drill out the old bead epoxy glue is involved.

I searched extensively and couldn't find a source for the original shaped Parker front bead other than maybe having one custom turned and then you would need to know the original thread or more likely tap the rib for a larger thread.

Thanks a million guys for all of the help-much appreciated!

This gun was originally purchased in Meherrin, VA by my grandfather William Berry, Sr.  He owned some several farms there and my dad and his brothers (frank and bill jr) grew up working on the farms and quail hunting of course! My grandfather and grandmother (Imra Berry) were very hard working and great people - This gun was almost lost when i was in my teens and had just started to go hunting- I happened to see an article in my trapping mag.  "fur fish and game" - (late 70s i think)the article of course was Parker Bros. Americas finest shotgun  - unfortun. when i told my dad - my mother heard as well - dad was really proud and my mom could only think it was worth something and should be sold immediately - well as luck would have it a pawnshop owner in greenwood indiana - hadn't heard of parker and told my dad it was junk and would give him $25 for it! Since then it has stayed with me - It's missing the sight and has some slight pitting in the barrels but otherwise is in great condition so i feel very lucky to have it - we just purchased a llewellin setter and i'm training her and our golden for grouse season in maine this year - so hopefully the gun i used to get my first rabbit, squirrel, and duck will also be the one that gets my first grouse! Thanks again for the help -fb

fb: you need to go back into the forum registration and change your screen name to your real name as required. If you just put it in a reply one of the moderators will change it for you. Then make sure you stick around and keep us up on your hunting adventures with your trojan. Sounds like a close call on almost losing it years ago. Post a picture of the gun if you can.

Wouldn't a Trojan have a brass bead front site?

Is the 6-48 the standard thread size for both front and mid bead?
