That's correct, it should be a capped pistol grip DHE 12 ga 28" barrels. 17th gun listed from the end of the book

Yes it is a half frame Bill. A mutual friend who is not internet capable and a Fox collector has strayed off the ranch! Sounds like a very nice high condition gun that he stumbled on to. Thanks for the reply's. Craig

Could be that our historian has some additional information on the gun from the IBM card. Request a PGCA letter to find out. It would make a great mate to my DHE #241,562, made in identical configuration.
