I am in serious denial that anyone could do this to a gun and even remotely consider it a professional restoration or repair. The rib at pic 7. Whew. Makes me queasy.

Look at the repair on the right side of the forend and the right side of the stock by the trigger. Why white pins?

I can't understand why people can't just leave these old guns the way they find them. I think there are a lot more "ed1 wannabe's" out there than we originally thought.

It looks like a PH Damascus or Twist set of barrels that have been blued over and the stamping denoting the barrel steel has be obliterated. What a shame to do this to a nice old & rare Parker.
Just My Humble Opinion............George

I examined this gun at a gun show in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago. I could tell pretty quick I was not interested because of apparent issues already discussed. I did not take down the serial number. The seller did tell me the barrels were sleeved to 28 ga. I think but am not sure it was originally a 16.
