Oh you bought the gun?
What was the deal with her claiming she had paperwork from Parker stating they'd done the work?

yes I did buy it she came down quite a bit when she didnt have the paper work. She had just info on when her husband bought the gun. but it is stamped clearly 69350. then scratched in with looks like a dremel tool along side or 69350 is A436854. Van P.

You need to get some digital pics posted on the forum so folks can comment intelligently. We'll all look forward to that....

Van: Bernard Steel was the highest grade "Damascus Type" barrel steel used by Parker & appears mostly in guns built in the 1890's. The serial number of the action will appear on the trigger guard tang and on the water table of the gun (also on the underside of the fore arm iron) the grade of the action will also appear on the water table. Some clear pictures would help a lot.
Best Regards, George

There's a size limit on what the forum will accept. 200kb maybe? Can you resize them? Or send them to someone with a fast connection who can. I'm on a dialup connection that would likely preclude me doing it. Someone will come on and offer to resize them for you if you have no way to do it. 60-80 kb each are usually fine.
