please call 530 284 6700. this has a bird dog on each side of rec. and what looks to be a stag or elk on bottom of rec. says parker on both sides behind pointing dog. Van P.

yes I did buy it she came down quite a bit when she didnt have the paper work. She had just info on when her husband bought the gun. but it is stamped clearly 69350. then scratched in with looks like a dremel tool along side or 69350 is A436854. Van P.

Van: Bernard Steel was the highest grade "Damascus Type" barrel steel used by Parker & appears mostly in guns built in the 1890's. The serial number of the action will appear on the trigger guard tang and on the water table of the gun (also on the underside of the fore arm iron) the grade of the action will also appear on the water table. Some clear pictures would help a lot.

Dean  parkers bros makers  meriden conn. damascas steel. the barrels are damascas the ones on my 14 I just bought are twist.but this thing has very shiney almost crome like receiver parker and bird dog on each side stag on bottom stamped deep in receiver on water table is 69350 along with under forearm and behind trigger guard.then scratched in with dremel tool on barrel table and receiver is that other no. There's a size limit on what the forum will accept. 200kb maybe? Can you resize them? Or send them to someone with a fast connection who can. I'm on a dialup connection that would likely preclude me doing it. Someone will come on and offer to resize them for you if you have no way to do it. 60-80 kb each are usually fine.
