Dean, the back end of this turn of the century CH is very nice, but your friends up there are saying that the barrels have been bobbed to 20" and fitted with red extended screw in chokes. Any truth to it?

Just pulling your leg Dean.

Dean,

Who cares if the barrels have been cut! She has still got the SSBP, half grip, and just beautiful. So which is the greater sin? Cut a stock like that or the barrels?

Obama say's you can"t torture anyone, so post the story, 'cuz you are sure torturing all of us!

Happy Easter, Lon

If it is a Bernard and a nice C back end , it is always worth getting the gun and then looking for a way.

Bruce,

I was just thinking the same thing. Should be able to dismantle a set of Bernard barrels and then replace the tubes? Galazan charges $4,000 for a new set of 21 barrels, so should be able to "repair" a set of barrels for less than $4,000. Lon

I'll bet there is a garbage can full of NOS Bernard tubes somewhere in Belgium!

I will also add that the Bernard barrels with there original black and white finish are and the nicest that I've ever seen. Congratulations Dean on the acquisition of another great Parker.

Good looking gun, Dean.  The theme for this years Banquet display will be announced in the upcoming Parker Pages.  Next year's theme, too...
