Good find--too bad the gun didn't come with it!...I prefer this toe-under design of case as it is very compact and therefore lightweight. Looks to be laid out very much the same as the Parker Repro cases except for the location of the oil can compartment. You may want to build up the bottom of the snap cap compartments to facilitate ease of removal of them.

Bruce, Beautiful Case, I Only Wish I Could Find One As Nice.

Both the gun and case are owned by a friend. I picked the case up for him at the Tulsa show through a fellow specializing in vintage gun cases. I have recommended the case dealer several times here. He lives down south, Dothan, Alabama.
The A-1S 20ga was part of our Madison Wis display in Feb. Greg, you saw it there. Definitely a nice gun.

Bruce, now that you mention that this A1 Special was at the Pheasant Phest I guess I do recall it, but very vaguely. I must apologize as I was under the influence of sensory overload with all the beautiful and rare Parkers which were on display in the PGCA booth.

It was the Marlin bolt action shotgun that put you over the edge.
