Thought you folks would find this interesting. 10 Gauge DHE Titanic barrels. Made in 1930. Talked to Larry Delgreco and he restored it some time ago and it appears it hasn't been fired since. I purchased it in March and ordered a letter which was received yesterday. Specs are s/n 234841 and it was completed July 31st, 1930. DHE Hammerless, 10 gauge on the # 3 frame. Titanic Steel barrels, 32" long with regular chamber. Stock configuration of capped pistol Grip. Specs of LOP 14", DAH 2 3/4", Weight 8 lb's 14 ounces. The gun currently has a Delgreco blackline Pach pad installed. LOP now is 14 1/4". It also has a miller single trigger installed and both bores are identical at .035 choke.
I think only 45 DHE's were made with Titanic barrels.
I've got a box of factory Western 2 7/8" shells and she might be headed to the turkey woods soon. I've also got some RST's headed my way as well and Jent M. is going to provide some input on reloading for ducks/geese. Wanted to share.
PS. This isn't a restock per Larry, and it still has the original owners initials in the oval from 1930. Unfortunately, we will probably never know who that was. Regards Tom

Very nice gun, most 10 gauges around here are so loose that they seem to flex when you get them out of the rack, yours is beautiful.......now get out there and shoot the heck out of it.

Gill

Tom,
What a beauty! That is a to die for Parker. I'm supprised that big 3 frame is only 8 pounds. Mine feels like 10+ pounds. I'll mention that it is DelGrego. I have never met them, but have spoken with them on the telephone and they were very helpful. Good luck with the turkey.

Thats a nice one, nothing like a 10 gauge with fluid steel. Are the chambers only 2 7/8? That late there's a chance it might have been a magnum.

Tom,
Are you planning on attending the Southern SxS in Sanford, NC? Please do and bring that 10ga. If I can't get on I would at least like to see one.
Carl.

Unfortunately, I won't be at the Southern this year. I'll be in Nebraska chasing turkey's that weekend. This Parker won't be going with me to Nebraska. However, a VH 12 gauge will certainly make the trip. This gun is pretty sweet indeed. Also, it has the short chambers. Measured it when I picked it up. Regards Tom
