I was at Cabelas in Lacey, WA yesterday and I asked the Salesman about the VHE 20 ga they had listed for $1550 a couple weeks ago. He told me that he had 25 voice mails when he got to work the morning after he listed it and the phone continued to ring throughout the next day. Amazing the liquidity that the internet has brought to the gun market.
The gun they currently have listed as a "D Grade 10 Guage" for $2000 is clearly a G grade with an E on the water table. He mistook the D on the barrel flats as being the grade. Gun was well worn, silver barrels and action. What really I found odd about this gun was the color of the grip cap and the butt plate... they were sort of yellow as if left out in the sun too long or something. The photos show all this pretty clearly, I guess the internet has brought some transparency to the market as well. All good!Last edited on Sat Mar 28th, 2009 02:46 pm by Dave Fuller
