Hello - I am new here, question please - I have a Trojan sn 20157x. The handguard does not have a take-down lever. How do you remove this handguard?

Thanx

Mr Ring, presuming that is not really your name, I suspect the handguard you refer to is what is known as a forend. The forend of the Trojan snaps into place on the forend lug on the barrels with a spring-loaded catch in the forend. To remove the forend you will need to firmly force your finger between the tip of the forend and the barrel rib and firmly pull it away from the barrels. Reverse the procedure to replace the forend - simply seat the rear of the forend firmly into place against the mating surface of the frame and firmly press the forend into place until it snaps on. Be sure to press in the middle of the forend, not out at the tip else you could break the wood. Also, when removing the forend, don't pull at the very tip of the wood as it may break or split but get your finger firmly as far in under the tip as you can before you start pulling.

Welcome to the PGCA forum but Bob Peters is right, you must register with your real name if you wish to continue with discussions here. Nobody here is anonymous
