Does anyone know where I can buy a two trunk cases or Leg-O-Mutton cases for my 36 inch Parkers without spending a "King's Ransom ?"

I've never even seen a leg-o-mutton case that would fit a 36 inch gun.

...and we have a winner!

Look at Cabela's Bargain Cave.  The long cases are 38" overall and should take 36" barrels with forend on.  These are a very good deal if you need them.  If you place an order make sure the person taking the order knows you want the LONG case, because the website listing is incorrect/confusing.  Both the suede and the calfskin are very attactive, but the calfskin (tan or brown) probably goes better with a vintage gun.  I bought a couple just in case I ever get a gun with really looooong barrels.

Jeff's Outfitters has some long trunk cases that may take 36" barrels, but that would be a stretch (ha!).  He also has a nice leather LOM, but I didn't pay any attention to the length.  Call Jeff and ask.

FEI in Wisconsin will make you a 36" trunk case as reasonably as anyone, but it won't be cheap.  Their cases are pictured and priced on their website.

Jim:  I just measured one of the long leather cases from Cabela's and the overall outside is 38-1/4", with a useable inside length of 36-1/2".  Should clear the 36" barrels and the doll's head. $40 for tan, $50 for brown leather.  Looks like they don't have the long case in suede.

I use a metal sided (Cabellas?) case for my 36" barrels. I have an old leather takedown case that was original or custom made many moons ago. It's still servicable, but I prefer the safety of the metal-sided case. I'm happy to confirm the manufacturer if you want.

Yes ... Please confirm the maker ... I'd really appreciate the help.

Gun Guard. Believe I bought it at Gaylans--now Dick's Sporting Goods.

BTW--36" Parker? I've not seen many in this length. Mine's a CHE born in 1906. Choked FF, English stock. So much fun to shoot.

By the way, I have an FEI case made for a 36" Alexander McComas eight gauge, now spaced down for a 33" Greener Royal eight gauge.  They do a great job on cases for big guns.
