For those of you who are wondering when Ed Muderlak's new book will be available I'm attaching a portion of the email that I just received from Ed.

Today's best answer is that the printed and bound books, both the Special 500 Limited Edition and  the Trade Edition should be shipped from the printer next Wednesday August 27th. I should have the 500 Ltd. Eds a few days later, which I will sign and mail to my pre-publication subscribers, who should start receiving their copies around Labor Day, as originally promised, depending on the USPS and distance from Durand IL. ... EDM

I hope that information helps ... TRUST ME, the book will be WELL WORTH THE WAIT !

Ed says he will have the LTD Edition for sale at the Vintagers.  He will probably be headquartered in the PGCA tent.

I ordered the book from Amazon for $32.95 last week.  No delivery date was noted though.

Tim ... You've hit the nail on the head, my copy of Ed's new book should arrive just in time for me to wrap it up and give it to myself as a Christmas present ... Anything that comes to AriZOOna from anywhere east of the Mississippi River has come by a 20 Mule Team Wagon Train out of St. Louis, and by the time the train hits the Oklahoma border about half the mules are dead and the survivors have at least one hoof in the grave ... And once the train hits the AriZOOna border those sickly mules are easy pickins for Rattlers and Scorpions ... You might remember that there was a nice 16 gauge Lifter Gun for sale in Double Gun Journal a while back ... Well, I missed out on buying that sweet little 16 because the G. D. wagon train delivers my copy of DGJ at least a week AFTER everyone else has theirs ... So, by the time my copy arrives on my doorstep in the Cactus Patch, all the good stuff like that 16 gauge Lifter or anything that's for sale in that particular issue is long gone, and all the junk has neen picked thru abour six times ! ... GOD I HATE THE US POSTAL SERVICE ! ... Best Regards.
