Gentlemen; I have in my possession a Parker model GH, serial # 85080 which I've had for many years. My question, after scouring this interesting site, is how common is a two barrel set with matching serial numbers? One is 34"s and the other is 26"s, quite a difference. I can only guess that this gun was rather diverse in its use. Any incite would be appreciated. Harry

Harry, Factory records exist for your gun. We welcome you to join the PGCA which makes the factory letter available to you for $40.00 non members pay $60.00. Parker factory two barrel sets are very collectible and a set of 34" barrels as part of a two barrel set are quite interesting. Your gun is definitely worthy of a letter and it may even provide you with information as to the original purchaser. Post some pictures on the forum and you will get lots of replies....Roger

That combination is very rare and unusual if it is as it was made or even if it can be documented as having had a barrel set made later.

Your set is very different to say the least and I would look to a research letter to confirm that the gun was ordered that way.
As to the rareity of two bbl sets I asked that very question here some time ago and had no response. I have 3 two bbl sets and know of several other members with them so I doubt they are very rare. My sets are 26/30, 28/28, 28/30 inch barrel lengths.
