I was goofing around on my computer yesterday and I stumbled across a small gun auction that I'd never heard of ... They only had 21 shotguns in the whole auction, but one of them was a nice 12 gauge, Grade 3, Lifter gun, SN 8130 with a small amount of engraving, 26 inch factory Damascus barrels, and a skeleton butt plate ... So, I quickly called them and registered as a phone bidder ... And when they called me at 7:40 AM this morning, I was lucky enough to win the bidding on the gun ... If my memory serves me correctly, Parker didn't make too many grade 3 lifter guns with 26 inch Damascus barrels ... And if someone cauld look up the exact numbers up in the Parker Story for me, I'd be greatly appreciative ... I can hardly wait to get my hands on the gun now ... But I'm sure it will fit into my small correctly very nicely ... Since I alreadyown its Big Brother, the 8 gauge SN 8128 gun.

Thanks Austin ... I thought you'd probably be the person who would have the statistics close at hand ... I thought my 20 gauge lifter gun was pretty scarce because Parker only made thirteen ... But only three grade three lifter guns makes this 12 gauge even more scarce ... Thanks again !

Don't you have a copy of TPS and the Serialization Book? Last edited on Sun Aug 19th, 2007 08:48 pm by Don Kaas

Well, actually, it's three lifter Grade 3 guns with 26" barrels that are scarce. If you include other barrel lengths, it becomes more common, but a 26" Grade 3 lifter is a real find. Of course, an eight and a 20 are the holy grail, but we know you are serious about this lifter thing.

Does anyone out there know how many GHE Damascus guns were made. I'm new at this and probably have posted on the wrong spot. Any help would be appreciated

Jim, I trust you'll post us a few pictures of this new gun when you receive it. I snagged the 28" VH20 off the Ivory Beads sight yesterday. No one else wanted the 2"/3" dimensions! I can hardly wait. It will be my best fitting gun.
