I just purchased my first parker shotgun. It is a hammerless,
straight stock gun serial #94005. Can anyone tell me anything
about it???

The Parker Gun Identification and Serialization book indicates that Stock Book 33 contains the information on your gun. The book indicates that the gun left the factory as a VH (V for Vulcan Grade and H for Hammerless) 12 ga. 28" barreled gun with a capped pistol grip stock. The gun was made in 1899.
You can obtain all of the information the PGCA has in a research letter at this link:

Thank you for your prompt reply. I have wanted a Parker shotgun
since I first saw one 8 years ago. Today I made a splurge purchace
but know very little about the parker guns. Any idea what its worth
in good recently shot condition??

Value is established by what a willing buyer pays a willing seller. So, you know it is worth what you just paid for it.
VH is the bottom grade of regular Parkers (not counting Trojans). The value range is big based on subtlties of condition. You must have looked at more than one Parker so you have some idea......more detail than that is highly dependent on condition and a competent Parkerphile would need to get a good look at it to make any worthwhile assessment.
