I hope everyone has found our new home.  Please take a look around and try out some of the new features that the PGCA has added.  A few examples of new items are listed below.
  • Parker 'age' page.  Enter your guns serial number and find out the year of manufacture.
  • Parker Research Letter page.  We have added a search feature which will allow you to enter your Parkers serial number and find out if the PGCA has records available for your gun.
  • Parker Pages table of contents.  If you are not yet a PGCA member check out the table of contents for the most recent Parker Pages and find out what you are missing.
  • This new BBS system.  We have a new software package with new editing features such as a spell checker.  Other features will allow the highlighting of posts and posting images with out requiring a knowledge of HTML.

Current Bugs...

I have a few outstanding bugs that you may notice....

  1. The home page does not display the jbot for the membership page correctly.
  2. The 'Parker ID' page does not display the different photos correctly
  3. The 'Contact Us' form does not work.  Although we can still receive email at the whoever@parkergun.org email address.
  4. The 'Search' page does not function correctly yet either.

Greg,

The site looks good. I think that it will be an improvement when every thing is completed.

Good show.  Congratulations and sincere thanks to you for all the effort you have put into the old PGCA site and for all of the work you have done getting the new site and bbs on line.  It is a great improvement and I am sure that all of the PGCA members witll appreciate it as well.

Oscar

Great work!  I'll send a few emails to help get the word out to other active BBS'ers.

Is there going to be a link to the Forum placed on the Parker homepage?

Thanks Greg!

I was beginning to get the shakes without the new BBS.  The home page and this forum home looks wonderful.  I'm seeing a few thing missing from the home page.  E-mail me if you want me to provide the particulars.

Happy New year!

Thanks Greg,

Site looks great and should be much easier to use.

Didn't realize we were going to loose all the old post.

Greg, Can I post this link on the DoubleGun website?

It's going to be hard to find, till the main webpage link is working.

Greg

Contratulations and thanks for all the hard work!

I appreciated the editing feature due to my ten thumbs typing style and a proof reading lag time problem. . . . . .

Greg,

Why can you not access the BBS from the web page, I got in after Rich sent me an email with the link. I have seen a couple of posts on the Gunshop.com wondering about the Parker BBS, maybe we should post a message there with the link. Eric

Eric,

I will link the BBS to the Home Page.  At this point we are still shaking the new software down and the Home Page is not finalized.  Just wanted to run things for a few days before we have the grand opening.
