I found a Charles Parker bench vise number 204 patented date 1910 at the DC big flea,question what is it worth? J.J.

J.J., meet me over there tomorrow and we will check % of original case colors and blue remaining, inspect the condition of the screws, see if they are """"timed"""", and the condition of the threads and jaw wall thickness. Impossible to assess value without these crucial evaluations. Thanks, K.

Mills,Thank's for your response,I did go on ebay and look over many bench vise's and did find many Parker bench vise's for sale.The one I bought is in beautiful shape and is now bolted on my bench,got it for $150.00 I'm happy. J.J.

Up here in NY, various Parker vises, if in useable condition run between $25 and $50. I paid $25 for mine. In general Parker vises are not scarce as they seemed to be used in most machine shops between 1900 and 1945. Very good working vices and they can take a lot of abuse.

Bill,I was very happy to find this vise it heavy duty just what I need for the my work.I did look over many Parker bench vise's on ebay and they get pretty pricey. J.J.

There are many still in use today....My bench at work. They vary in price. I sold my last 3 1/2" for $100.

i picked up 2 from work heading for the scrap steel dumpster. they both were like new but dirty I keep one and gave the other to friend. scott
