Default first bird for the DHE 28

He snaked in just after sunlight and before my second calling.
Looking like he was on a path to run me down, I tipped him over at about 15 yds.

1 oz hard lead #6 shot.
28 ga DHE Repro

That's quite an accomplishment Fred. I'll bet it was a real pleasure toting that little 28 around. I doubt many men have ever killed a turkey with a 28 gauge

Lord knows the full choke of the 28 repro's are dang tight.. XXX-full Most measure .038 of choke! They should hold a nice pattern out to 40 yards or so. SXS ohio
