Default CH buttstock

Guy's I would love to take my CH for a couple Ptarmigan or Ruff's...but I just can't stand that damn stock !!! the badly repaird crack and ugly cheekpeice just don't cut it...I plan on making one in the future ,but an original CH grade would be nice and easy if someone had one they would be willing to part with, the gun is a #1 frame ,the finish condition is not an issue nor is a buttplate ....or do anyone know of any pre-inlet's worth trying ?

All the best.

Chris,

Give Donnie Gemes a call at Show-Me Gunstocks 660-438-4568 on Monday about 10 AM Central time. I think he had done pre-inlet stocks in the past. His wood is beautiful.

Make sure you tell him it's for a C-grade gun so he when he duplicates your stock from his pattern he outlines the drop points on the cheeks of the stock, or at least leaves enough meat on the wood for the stocker to draw them out.
