Default Multi gauge sets

A while back we discussed multi barrel sets and now I wonder if Parker ever made a multi gauge set. I have a made up set in 16 with added 12ga barrels and once owned a damascuss 16 that someone added a set of damascuss 20ga barrels to. Did the ever come from the factory like that??

Didn't someone recently mention a factory 10/12 gauge set or possibly my old age is showing.

I have a A grade 20/28 gauge that was done by Remington, the gun started life as an O framed ejector Damascus 16 ga. Now if I could just find that 30" 16 ga Damascus ejector barrel.... Bill......

One of our members had a CH with two original sets of Bernard Steel barrels, one set in 12 gauge and the other set in 10 gauge. A year or two ago RHO had this gun for sale.

The gun I refer to is not the one BD shows and has both sets of thirty-inch barrels.

I thought this might be of interest to this conversation. As many of you know Austin Hogan had a great interest in multi barrel and multi gage sets. At on time he had sent me the image below which is taken from the 1899 Parker catalog giving the price and effect (weight) of having the factory add a second set of barrels of a different gage. Also of note is the fact that this second set of barrels cost approximately half of what a new gun would have cost. I believe this information was used in an earlier Parker Pages article by Dr. Hogan.
