Near Brevard, NC. The fish were not biting, but you don't need fish to enjoy these kind of surroundings

That's why you need to carry a cute little sawed-off CHE Parker 20 gauge with the buttstock sawed off right behind the pistol grip. Just made for hip-shootin' snakes!

No kidding. We had a snake swim up on my son while we were at the lake on this trip. They have rattlesnakes as far north as the French River in Ontario. Doesn't Ireland have no snakes, but then don't they have gun control laws? One just cannot win.

BUT this scene is about 5,000 feet above sea level, it is 70 degrees on the 4th of July, and snakes don't like the cold
