Greetings, and thanks for having this forum. New member here.

My wife and I have recently inherited her grandfather's 1894 Parker Grade 2 GHE (S/N 79665). #2 Frame, 12 gauge, Damascus 30-1/8" barrels.

From what we could tell, it was his duck gun. Seems to be in fairly good condition, a few rust spots on the steel, but otherwise appears to have normal wear, but needs a clean-up. The mechanisms seem smooth, but I haven't fired it. I'll post a couple of pictures when I get the chance.

The gun sat in a gun case, in a closet for the last 30+ years.

I'm sure I'll be posting some questions and looking for advice. Appreciate any advice and help.
