Well, I read the thread twice, guess I should have read the title once. In my own defense however, my Daddy always said I was never the brightest light on the tree!

My #2 above was an offhanded attempt to compliment the wealth of knowledge that the folks on this site display. Truely amazing, my hat is off to you all. Thank you for sharing.

Paul, your right about the disease of Parkers, what else would cause a guy to read this site till 3 in the morning the last couple nights?

Never the less, it's still one heck of a nice gun case.

I had a very talented young lady who has done boat canvas for me, make an outer case for the mahogany box. It's zippered, with integral handles and she did a superb job. If anyone is interested in having one made for their very classy A&F leather case, or others, get a hold of me and I'll put you in touch with her. I gave her what she asked, $120, but honestly feel it's worth more than that.

Really nice Edgar. How do you keep it clean though? (George will say you never take it out of the house..)

Edgar, I think she did a terrific job and it will serve you well to protect your fine craftsmanship underneath. The color isn't a problem - that's why they invented soap and bleach.

All the best
