Default Arizona Turkey/Grouse Hunt

Just got home from a fall turkey and grouse hunt in northern Arizona. Saw six grouse total with two missed shots using a 16 gauge PH with low pressure #8 loads. Was successful harvesting this young turkey with the C grade 10 gauge shown, using RST #4 low pressure shells. This is the first turkey I have taken using this gun. Hopefully there will be many more taken in the future. Please click on the photo to enlarge.

How long are those Bernard barrels? That’s a real beauty! I have one just like it but mine’s a 12 gauge on the 1-frame.

That is a great gun with those lovely barrels. A Fall turkey with a hammer Parker -- doesn't get much better.

The barrels are original 28" long. The gun is well balanced and kind of feels like a coach gun with the short barrels.

I shouldn’t wonder. What is the frame size?
