Default Born Rich, Fell On Hard Times: Project Gun

Saw this on GB. Looks as though it may have been a pretty high grade gun, though the side engraving looks like G. Who knows, maybe that rustoleum paint job saved it. Serious project, but I've seen the pictures of the chicken coop gun, so know someone out there has the talent.

Don't waste your time on that one. It's just a G-grade and certainly not worth a restoration. And I'm not sure how many usable parts you could get out of it if you bought it for that purpose. Paperweight maybe.

I have to disagree. It depends what you want for the end result. If you want to restore it to "as new" condition the work involved would not be worth it. On the other hand to turn it into a good looking shooter would not be that hard. The only problem is that some of the missing parts would have to be fabricated.
My shooter VH was in almost as bad condition and now I use it for trap. As I have time and money I will upgrade it to restore it to some of its original glory. I probably will never be able to sell it for anyways near what I have invested in my time and effort, but I have a good looking shotgun, not a paperweight!

I have been watching this one for a Parts gun. And maybe to have an extra set of barrels kicking around. Who knows what shape they are in. I think it's worth the current price for the small parts.
