Our dear friend and club President (Frank) was severely injured in an accident on October 18, 2020, and he and his family needs everyone’s help. On that day, Frank, along with his wife and son, were working the Virginia State Sporting Clays Championship event. Frank was working on the 5-stand tower when he stumbled and fell 30 feet to the packed earth below. He was air lifted to the nearest trauma 1 hospital, emergency measures were taken, and he was placed on a ventilator. Physicians determined that he sustained a fractured sternum, 3 fractured ribs, 17 facial fractures and possible damage to his eyes. He remains on the ventilator, has had two operations and still remains unconscious. His physicians have determined that Frank suffered a traumatic brain injury called a DAI, the extent of which is unknown. He may awaken in a couple of weeks, couple of months or not at all from this injury. Although he has medical insurance, there are numerous medical and rehabilitation costs that are not covered – especially long term – which could be substantial. Plus, the family has living expenses and school expenses for his son attending Liberty University. Your contributions will mean so much to them as they focus on Frank’s health and recovery. Brenda requests prayers for Frank to awaken and for his eyes. We request prayers for them all, and for your help financially to alleviate a burden from them. Thank you.

Update on Frank from Brenda:

Saturday: "Frankie is about the same today. He is still moving his left arm... He is still moving his facial muscles. He is still not awake. They did give him one unit of blood today because his blood count was staying low, but they think that's from the initial blood loss and the surgery this past week. They do not believe he has any active bleeding."

Sunday: "Frank's day was a bit like the weather we had today. He had a rough start, but then became more comfortable as the day progressed."
Thank You ! for the prayers and for caring so much ! I don't own a Parker and if I never do, Im ok with that. I am on my way to you home page to join this fine organization. If you will have me ?
