On September 19, 1892, Emil Flues, Bay City, Michigan, ordered a GH grade 12 gauge with 30" Damascus barrels, pistol grip stock. The serial number is 74894.

Thank you,
Craig

41745 is the gun I have with the stamp under the butt plate. Perhaps he had owned this one, or done some work on it at one point.

Following the links on this thread has brought up some fascinating reading about Emil Flues. Does anyone have a link to the solid gold gun he built for Ras Tafiri ?

Bill,
When I get a chance, I will see if there is a letter available on this hammer gun I just picked up. I have a few Parkers that I want to get researched.
Thanks again for your information,
Craig

Haile Selassie on left before he was emperor of Ethiopia with his bride (ctr) and rifles (sporting or military?). he did enjoy big-game hunting.

I wonder if any of there might be the gold plated Flues gun???
