Default Rasawek Preserve

Just got home from Rasawek Preserve doing the quail thing . Had a pretty decent day ! The only thing I can knock the place about was wanting you to approach the birds four abreast , I’d be much more comfortable doing it in pairs . Anyway I scratched down 11 birds with 14 shots and yes I ALWAYS keep track of hits and shots etc . In our group of four there was one lady shooter the wife of the guy that gets this shoot together , two other guys and myself as well as a lady handler and her three English Setters . Might have to do this again if I can before heading to the South Pacific Almost forgot I was using the little VH 0 frame 28 gauge shooting Fiochi factory #8 dove loads !

Where are all the brush thickets, plum thorn bushes , and fireweed?

Dogs are in both photos. In the bottom, Bert the pointer is locked up and you will need to go in to flush the birds.
