Dean - I have taken P/Ws apart and successfully put them back together. It is a big job to take them down completely and re-assemble/adjust. I would try not to disassemble more then necessary. Can you jiggle the handle and try to figure out where it is jammed. Failing to do that, I would take the shot/powder hopper off and look at the rack and circular gears. Shot could have gotten in there and caused the mechanism to lock up. The next thing I would look at is if something blocking the crossbar from moving. You can call be if you want to discuss further Billy Gross 703/753-8613.

P.S. Drain the powder and shot before you do anything. Also manually try to jiggle the turn table, something could have that jammed. Will the cross bar move up and down at all?

Right - that’s what got me into this mess in the first place.... No, nothing in the gear mechanism, thanks.

If the gears are clear, I would try to see if something is blocking the rotation. If you don't see anything, the next thing to do is to take the tool head off. There are two screws on top of the posts to remove. You may have to then lever the tool head up. Billy

Also, try to see if something is blocking the pull arm from coming down. Billy
