Based on what I see, it looks like the frame has been recolored and the gun has been restocked. Major hints at the stock are the overall form differing from thpical style in many ways. ie: the comb, grip and the cheek panels. Nothing screams incorrect about the forend, except for the oval inlay and the checkering looks off in places. That along with the fact that it seems to match the stock makes me think it was replaced along with the stock.

Mike, I beg to differ on the pad. It looks to me to be a nice quality done double line leather covered pad.
