I have a Fox Sterlingworth that is chambered 12 bore on the left & 45/70 on the right that I am told is factory original.

It's strange all the things that are out there, really makes all of this interesting. I'm trying to gain some good knowledge on the Hunter Arms ledger pages I have. I can't really figure out what they are or to what they pertain. They are written in fountain pen type writing and make mention to many measurements and other things, some of which appear to be 3 barrel guns. I have someone going over them now that is an absolute authority on the L.C. Smith guns. He is not connected to any of the " gun boards " on the internet, probably has the most extensive collection of early Smith guns in the world so I'm most curious to see what he finds. Jerry |
