I had admired that BH in the Julia catalog. I especially like the engraving but the entire gun is just wonderful. I don't know why I didn't bid on that gun but I'm sure that if I had it would have hammered at a much higher price. I can't understand why more people didn't bid on it... economy? I don't know but I do know what I would have paid for it and it would have been less than the high estimate. Maybe the high estimate kept us all away... all but one I guess. What I can't figure out is why there wasn't a reserve on this fine Parker.

I don't know Robin, just a guess from somebody who knows enough to get in trouble maybe the checkering isn't fancy enough. You look at it and you can give me a lesson. But its a dandy in my opinion. best ch
