Default Mark Conrad - Always Above and Beyond

Many thanks to Mark Conrad and his never ending work on putting out the Parker research Letters. What a super job he does! His willingness to dig further even after several searches is not only appreciated but certainly above and beyond the expected. Thanks Mark for your stellar efforts and fantastic results......Best regards, Carl Beers

I'll add to those kudos... Mark always goes above and beyond and is what the PGCA BOD is all about... It's a long story how/when I first met Mark - but your experience is what Mark just does... And he just shakes it off - asking for nothing in return.

Thanks for posting this thread, Carl.

When Mark took over the research letter job everything was in chaos.A new data base was needed and I am sure it involved many hours of work. Not only did he get it up and running he tuned it into one of our PGCA's most interesting and valuable assets.

Mark...Thank you once again for all your help. It's members like you that make this organization great.

Yup, I just got three letters in the mail and they are wonderful. I would like to get Mark's letters for Christmas every year.

These research letters are at the core of recovering our history. I just sent for one on my PH16 and I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

When I look at pictures of how cryptic the records are I am in awe of the work that Mark is doing.

Thank you!

I to have found Mark to be responsive and extremely helpful. I agree if anyone has seen how difficult the original records are to read you understand his job is not easy. Thanks Mark for what you do.

Thanks guys for the kind words. It is what I would call enjoyable work that I can do on my time schedule. In addition, the money has helped finance some nice projects for PGCA members.

Destry, the tuna are getting ready to come south this fall. That #3 frame DHE would be perfect for the jumpers.

Mark,

What shot size? Do I need non-toxic or can I use lead?

You are out 60 to 70 miles and the water is 300 feet deep or better. Lead works fine and you need at least #4 buck shot. You have to be really fast!!

Destry, I hope you make it to the Vintagers.
