Default A Few Volunteers Needed for Parker Pages Material on the Spring Southern

Just a couple of folks have said they will provide write-ups with good coverage of the various shooting events at the Southern - the Main Challenge Cup Event - the Hammergun Challenge - the various 'Gauge' events - The Second Annual American Classic Youth Event - and so on.

In an earlier post I had suggested that those who are providing photographs only select their best dozen or so, but please don't edit your pics, I'll do that, but please do provide names of those in the pictures.

There is also the Parker Gun Foundation's Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Display - I will need some good reporting on that wonderful event as well, along with some great pictures too of course.

Thanks very much, and if you plan to provide material for inclusion in Parker Pages, please let me know that you are planning to do so.

Thank You All,
Dean

Dean:

I was planning on bringing the camera again to shoot the shoot and the HOF dinner. I probably gave you too many pics but I didn't want to leave Sanford with out you getting everything. If that was too much let me know and I'll have to send edited down content at a later date.

Michael

I plan on doing the Southern in general and the Smith Parker events as usual.

Fly me in, I'll write you a book . All seriousness aside, it would be nice to have someone there who does nothing but record the event.

Michael
Last year I received numerous pictures from a number of generous people but in total there may have been as many as two hundred or more and it was incredibly time-consuming and a bit frustrating to get the names right on the pictures I selected and to edit and crop the pictures. So, you all can see why I ask you to send me only your best dozen or so. And I hope to still receive those dozen or so pictures from a dozen or so good folks who will be attending, even if you’re not the one writing the article.

Thanks to everyone.

The many years I attended I did just that.... but I didn’t have any other responsibilities so it was relatively easy duty.

Hi, I left 552 pics in Sanford. The transfer to thumb drives was done during the after party in the hotel breakfast area. I transferred everything I shot because I didn't know what you would want to see to illustrate the event review. I'll cull the herd this year. Hopefully I'll pick some good shots to send you.

Hi, Sorry about missing the HOF Dinner. It was one of the reasons I bring Pretty Wife with me. An evening socializing with fellow afflicted souls of the guns of Meriden is not to be missed but some how I managed it. I did take about 1200 pics on Saturday and have shots of just about everything. Send me a list of what you will need for the article and I'll send suitable images to you.
