Default 16ga VH frame size question

Hello!

New guy here and I need some help identifying frame size markings.

Serial # 157357 (manf. 1911). 28" barrels, 3-6 weight.

On the barrel lug, there is a small "K". Then a "1". Then what looks to be a hyphen mark (although it could be a scratch or tooling mark.

I've attached a JPG picture of the marking to this thread for clarification.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Ed

However, Charles A. King who used the K stamp retired in 1910 and his son Walter King assumed the position of superintendent and used WK as his stamp.
