It went for $2825.00. I was in hopes Don Kaas would get the gun so it would be restored properly. Good luck to who ever got the 14 Ga DH

Nice of you to say so (I think...) Pat but the only thing this gun had going for it was it was a 14 gauge and I am not sure that is really such a big deal...

Well, I guess that means I'm immortal because it was very easy to let that one slide...If your "gun of a lifetime" goes for $3K it should be easy to find satisfaction...a AA Whitworth top lever is a gun of a lifetime or at least a decade of it...to each his own.
