The only structure standing on dad's place when he bought it was a one room sharecropper cabin. Went through several carpenters before we found one who agreed to restore it. That carpenter was rewarded with the job of building their house later.

I really like the stone homesteads and buildings in KS. Post rock country is definitely a place to see.
