Default Parker Repro Snap Cap

I have a repro snap cap that is missing the spring and screw. The spring and screw provide the tension on the insert the firing pin hits. This is a 28 gauge snap cap. Does anyone know what size spring/screw to use to fix this? Or better yet is there any place just selling the spring/screw?

I did buy a pair of snap caps from Jeff's outfitters. I just don't like having something that appears to be an easy fix broken.

Thanks,
Ken

If you have one good one, I suggest taking it to a well stocked hardware store or a gunsmith and take it apart to see if they would have a screw and spring to match.

Ken, I seem to remember a 28 ga. snap cap in my collection of Parker stuff. As I recall it has a bit of a dent in the side of it. I'll take a look and let you know.

Yup Ken, I have the one I referenced above. It's not a Parker Reproduction snap cap but it is spring loaded with the screw. Probably by the same manufacturer. If you want it, it'syours.
