Default Lockplates and Hammers

For those who are interested in Parker hammer gun lockplates and hammers.

We sometimes have posters here asking where they can get a missing hammer for their Parker. As can be seen, there is substantial variation between hammers.

These are fabulous examples. It seems that lower grades are more similar? The beautiful pictures seem to be all high grades.

My grade 1 and 2 have less engraving are quite similar. Shape and design are more similar than the beautiful ones above.

Is the 3rd one down a Grade 2? Is one of thoes Benard guns the gun you brought to town the other day?
