Default 16 Gauge on a 0 Frame

Late this past summer of 2013 I purchased a "rescue" 16 Gauge VH on a 0 frame with 28" barrels. The gun looked to be in rough shape with the head of the stock broken, incorrect broken butt plate, most screws buggered, hinge pin buggered and reversed and the toe of the stock rounded, the owner said chewed by his dog. The finish was almost completely gone with the checkering in poor shape. The gun was in Northern Maine and I suspect it had been stored in a North Woods Hunting Camp since it was new in 1906. The seller knew nothing about Parkers but I took a chance and bought it. Within days of receiving it I shipped it off to Brian Dudley for the above mentioned work, in addition to cleaning it inside. I got the gun back about a month ago, and could not be more pleased with Brians work and attention to detail. Here are some before and after pictures. The barrels are in good shape with two spots where dents were removed a long time ago. Bores measure .662 and .664 with IC in the right and mod in the left. Oh, and the gun weights 5 Lbs 15 Oz on my digital scale. You would swear that it is a 20 gauge
