Default Sticker Shock

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=133509654

Am I missing something with this redone gun?
16 gauge, VHE, single trigger, @ $8500.00

Now it's at $2850.00 with one bid and hasn't hit reserve. Before it was at $8500.00 with 3 bids

What surprises me more than the price it has been bid up to is the fact that there are three bids up to that price and there are four days remaining

Not sure it's your dyslexia or mine, but I read it at $2,850.00.

Perfect example of price manipulation. I do not suffer from dyslexia or anything of the sort. Now that link shows $2,850.00 with only one bid instead of the three that were on there an hour ago at $8500.00.

Somebody's goofin' with us . . .

Yes Greg, it is an Ilion gun. It's what is commomly referred to as a "late Remington gun".

I also thought I was going a little off the deep end when I saw that it had been bid up to over $8K.......then a few hours later it was back down to around $2K. Someone must have retracted a bid or two. Maybe the reserve is that high and the guy put a $10K bid on it just to break the reserve price and it was much higher than expected....

How did those prairie dogs treat ya ?......way too much fun, heh !!

I think Mr. Miles enjoyed watching them come unglued as much as he did shooting them. He has a bit of a sadistic side unseen befor.

He was the first one up every am....but he was also the first one to bed
