Every year I think I might go and then something else comes up. I'll be pigeon shooting that weekend in Philly.

Mike,
A few years back I came up with the idea of "Parker People" having lunch together at about 1:00 PM, on Saturday, in the Buffet Restaurant of the Riviera ... The food is good, the price is right, and it's right upstairs gun show which is really convenient. Jim Kucaba ... AriZOOna Cactus Patch ... Email: JimKucaba@aol.com

Las Vegas Show
James: At the gun show are you allowed to bring guns in to sell if you don't have a table reserved. I guess my question is are there buyers there for good quality doubles. Thomas L. Benson Sr.

Thomas, you are most welcome to bring "for sale" guns into the show. And yes, there are probably more serious buyers attending than anywhere in the country. Good luck!

I just got off the phone with Amos Keag Auctions ... The # 430 T-Latch opened and sold at $3,000.00 and sold on a single bid ... The only interested parties were a guy in the crowd who made the $3,000.00 asking price to open and me on the phone ...
Since EDM informs me that all Parker T-Latch guns were the chambered for the 12B brass shell and that the 14 gauge didn't come out until AFTER the T-Latch was discontinued, I just let it go to the on-site bidder for the $3000.00 opening bid because I don't really need a duplicate to the lucky #666 T-Latch I currently own. James, my lunches are always at the Marilyn Monroe hot dog bar. You can't beat a dollar hot dog and a dollar and a quarter beer and the lunchtime trivia contests. Too bad I'll miss this year.

Bill,
Being from the Chicago area, I'm a hot dog and pizza connoisseur ... Nothing in the world can match a good Chicago Dog or a properly made, thin crust, Chicago Style Pizza ... And although I don't drink very often anymore I keep a 12 pack of Heileman's Old Style Lager and a 12 pack of Canada Dry Ginger Ale in the refrigerator and a quart of Jack Daniels in the cabinet in case I get a craving a good beer or a Ginger-Jack ... I've never heard of the Marilyn Monroe Hot Dog Bar ... Is it in the Riviera Hotel or somewhere else ? ... Maybe I'll hit the Hofbrauhaus for "zum Deutschen eck" one night while I'm in Vegas.
