Default A "Little Gun" for me

I picked up a nice 16ga 0 frame Top action, serial #74922. It has 30" Laminated steel barrels choked .018" & .022", .665" bores. The gun weighs 6#11oz. The gun has a fishtail top lever, checkered grip cap and DHBP. The locks still have decent color(more than shown in the pics) and the screws are all in good shape.

Overall impressive condition for a 124 year old gun. I plan to shoot doves with it tomorrow!

For some reason I can't see the pic but it sounds like a winner. Where can you shoot doves in May?

I will try to re-post the pics. We can shoot Eurasian doves year round with no limit here in AZ.

Very nice 16 hammer gun. Good luck on your dove hunt.

That is an exceptionally nice Grade 1. Very rare with the 30" barrels.

Dean if I may ask why is a grade 1 rare with 30 inch barrels? Were there more grade 2's w/30 inch tubes vs ones's? I have a grade 1 16 w/32 inch barrels so is that a rare gun as well. I know that hammer guns with 26 inch barrels are uncommon but thought anything from 28-30 was pretty normal.
