Default Repro Date of Manufacture?

Is there a way to determine the date of manufacture of a Parker Repro? A table somewhere I can go to? Would like to determine for my own records the date of mfg of this little 20 ga I just picked up.

Correction.....Reproductions started in 1984 and the factory closed in 1989. Some guns were finished her in the states at the P. R. custom shop after everything was moved back from Japan. New gun sales ended with the close outs in 1995. Tom Skues looked for a new factory to move the operation but could not find any that would not be cost prohibitive. All hope ended when storms fluded the storage facility and all was lost.....bummer! Parker repro's of their quality will never ever be made again at a price they sold for. That said Parker repro's we see for sale now are a true value in the market that would cost double or triple what they are selling for if available today brand new! Remingtons by Galizan AAHE in 28ga is 50,000.00 I can't afford that one!....But I can own and shoot the Skues guns and even own a DHE-410/28....(-: Thanks all SXS ohio....

Default Pictures....DHE working guns

Here is a couple nice repro's! The last picture is of my first grouse I ever shot taken with my repro DHE-16 28" Q1/Q2 barrels. It almost was a true double as a 2nd grouse flushed behind me....I wheeled, had a perfect sight picture! Your mine I said! I feathered the rear trigger, expected a poof of feathers, then the grouse banked hard left at the last possible moment like it had eyes in rear end, and was unscathed! I watched it all in slow motion!....and smiled. This is a great repro 20/16 set, comes in at 6lbs-4oz with the 16 barrels. PG-DT-SF with two sets of barrels both 28" Q1/Q2 Thanks Tom Skues!... Its one fine Parker....(-: P.A. grouse season starts in three months! SXS ohio...(-:

Some guys like fast cars...I like setters, Parker SXS-S and bird huntin. My brother has a last year made 500 plus horse 427 corvett and a 427 Yanko Camaro convertible. Would not trade my guns for them! I do have a nice 1986 Harley heritage...The four guns in the pictures above are 410/28ga,20, 20/16ga, and a 12. All double trigger guns, all fit me about the same...sweet. My repro collection took me many years and lots of gun dealing! I paid the asking price to get most of these fine guns, all found on internet sights by looking every day. When a nice repro comes up for sale and the price is fair...don't try to get a deal, just buy it before its gone! That's how I did it....cash and credit card check in hand, one at a time. Snoose and you loose on the hard to find ones! The 410 and 16 gun sets cost me the most. In todays market and future markets I will not loose a penny on them and will most likely do very well on my investment! Plus the joy of ownership is priceless. HELP...I still want a couple more...BHE double trigger ones....Thanks all SXS ohio

Default My owner Ruby...

This is Ruby my Gordon Setter...she is about 2 1/2 now. She is well trained and loves to hunt birds and point. Oh...I am well trained, and follow her anywere she hunts. She is a big part of our family. Its good that she cannot talk...but she does try too. She is very spoiled! I would like to have a English setter to keep her company but our house is too small...that's what my wife Kim says....)-:

Sometimes it just has to come down to a choice between your favorite loved one and the wife....
