Looks like the quail are starting to come back in Kansas. Someday I would like to go out there and just hunt Bob's. Years ago I hunt south central Iowa when the still had birds and once in awhile we would run into a covey of Bobs, that was great fun

We moved several coveys over New Year's weekend. We were after roosters and let them fly on.

Guess I would have gone after the Bob's and second thought on the roosters. It would be great fun to do that again.

One of my best friends just got back from his 3rd trip to Kansas, and is thinking about leaving Monday to go back out again for the last week. He has been finding quail regularly.
He is retired, but I am not, or I'd be right out there with him. Think I will have to schedule myself off for a week next year. Thanks for sharing those pics Shawn, is that a GH?

It wasn't necessarily on purpose
