If I go and that’s a mighty big if and I wanna use a 12 gauge it’ll either be a WIN 12 Heavy Duck or a Belgium A-5 Mag . And if I do I’ll take a few of the rather old shells .

Top of the list is a new GHE 12 gauge from Rock Island. Then comes the LC Smith Long Range, my first GH which is a 12 2 barrel set.

I haven't decided if I'll shoot my DH 12 with 30" Titanic Steel barrels choked .033" and .034" or if I'll shoot my 3-frame D grade 10 ga. Lifter with 30" barrels. I have no idea of the chokes as I don't have anything that will measure a 10 ga.

In any case, they both have brought home the bacon in the past, several times each.

I will give it a shot with my DH 12 gauge with 30" D4 barrels choked full and full. I've got some RST #5 shot loads for it which pattern pretty well out to 40 yards.

I plan on carrying my 1925 12 gauge Trojan 28” m and f barrel with some hand loaded 1 5/8oz #9 tss shot. I used some this last fall through the 28 gauge and it was deadly on pheasants. I’m hoping for the same results if i get to pull the trigger on a turkey.

I'll be lugging a big Ithaca/ Mag 10/ 3 1/2"/ NID. Spring Turkey hunting is about the only thing that is practical for that beast.

I will be carrying a Fox Sterlingworth 32" barrels choked tight and tight. The load will be 15/8oz #9 TSS handloaded by Matt Buckley. Should be good to 300 yards.
