Heres the video the water glass is at the 4:40 mark
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VI47bl2h0cU

Ive never seen or heard of shooting conveys on the ground either but he says it was for when you needed to kill 30 bird to feed a family of 9 . A 4 bore on small birds seems extreme even by my standards . I used to use 2 1/4 loads of #4s in my 10 ga 3.5"s for squirrels at probably 60 yards or so . Never did much meat damage as theyd only have 2 or 3 hits in the head .

My neighbor who lived about half a mile down the road asked me the following day what the * I was shooting . When I told him he said it sounded like thunder haha .

We used to have a real problem with squirrels chewing holes in our flight pens on the quail farm . I seen him take his dads old browning sweet 16 and go and kill every one he came across he was fed up with them . I always loved seeing them purple hulls when I was a kid .

I wish I could find the picture of that reloading press that was on GI awhile back it was setup for 8 ga , had the resizer and all with it looked pretty good .

wish you had got that reloader...i know they used the mec 600 10 ga reloader for a platform and made a 8 ga reloader out of it...but i hear it was a pretty costly affair...i get by with a homemade rezizer and ahand press and a old lee 10 ga hand reloader...i then use the precision roll crimper or the hand crimper....on that water solution for the top of the over shot card you cannot hold pressure on the wad while it set up..it takes a few hours to set up were as the hot glue only takes a few moments to set up...thus wad has some pressure on it so it goes bang better on the brass hulls....charlie

The reloader was actual a PGCA members I was able to find the page for it .
Looked like a pretty clean setup .

Im curious to see when RST releases their 8 ga loads how they resize the hulls .
Usually their are marks on the hulls after resizing . The 8 ga loader i seen the hulls didnt have any resizing marks on them they looked clean and neat .
